To me it looks like @Bancor solved impermanent loss for liquidity providers. 65 Days back I added REN to V2 pool, today I have my original REN + 8% extra REN (annualised), during this time REN went to $0.58 to $0.16, to $0.425. @Bancor $REN / $BNT pool withstood the volatility.
