Badger Dao

This protocol is similar to Yearn as it intends to support yielding earning strategies on deposits. Instead of vaults, Badger has installed 5 Setts which all are programatically designed to generate yield on synthetic BTC deposits. Unlike Yearn the focus of this protocol will be on BTC.

Currently you can earn triple digit yields, most of which is paid to depositors in Badger tokens. Given how popular this protocol has been, these yields are likely to be reduced substantially in the coming weeks. However, their elastic supply token, Digg, is tentatively scheduled to be launched on 12/20/20. All Setts will be eligible to receive a portion of the Digg liquidity mining incentives. During the launch I expect all the Setts to get a yield boost.

The Digg token is like Ampl, however it will be pegged to BTC rather than the dollar. I’m extremely excited to partake in this monetary experiment. It’s impossible to determine the outcome this far in advance, but I will definitely attempt to extract profits from this opportunity. On a side note, it’s just a matter of time before Badger or another DeFi protocol is able to generate more yield than the CeFi platforms. Sooner or later most capital in circulation will be chasing yield in DeFi. If you want more details, I encourage you to watch my latest video.

$Rune and $Link prices are comparable, due to similar circulating supply, and arguably, similar hype. Link spent 1.5 years bouncing in a range between $0.20 and $1.20, and then at one point, it broke out, went all the way to $20. I'm expecting a similar scenario with Rune.
