Updates
Crypto.com Expands Insurance Program
Crypto.com (CDC) has expanded its total insurance coverage to 750 million USD, after increasing its policy coverage led by Arch Underwriting at Lloyd’s Syndicate 2012.
The renewed policy, effective September 6th, 2021, makes Crypto.com’s insurance programme one of the largest in the industry.
This policy is the largest coverage that Crypto.com has ever secured for its cold storage assets on Ledger Vault, the company’s custodial partner.
Fnatic and Crypto.com Enter Into Historic Partnership
The partnership is Crypto.com’s first-ever in esports and adds to the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio of partners, which includes leading sports brands such as UFC, Formula 1, Lega Serie A, Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1, the Montreal Canadiens and Paris Saint-Germain.
The historic deal will enable Crypto.com to seamlessly engage with Fnatic's truly global and digitally-native audience.
The partners will also launch new digital products, such as exclusive Fnatic NFTs in the near future.
Crypto.com will work with Fnatic on a variety of activations with Fnatic’s esports teams, players and creators including collaborative storytelling with existing Crypto.com partners, engaging gaming content, branded in-game experiences and events.
Crypto.org Mainnet Launch
Originally expected to be released on October 18th, 2021, the launch of Crypto.org Chain Mainnet will be release on November 8th, 2021 after securities issues were identified.

Crypto.org Chain is a public, open-source and permissionless blockchain—a fully decentralized network with high speed and low fees, designed to be a public good that helps drive mass adoption of blockchain technology through use cases like Payments, DeFi and NFTs.
Crypto.com Visa Card
About 4 weeks ago I had an unauthorized charge on my Crypto.com card. I contacted customer support and everything was resolved within a week.
They issued me a new virtual card which was available immediately for use, however, the funds took an additional 4 days to transfer over from my previous card.
I requested my physical card about 3 weeks ago and still have not received it.
I did not have access to my card’s funds for over a week so I highly recommend you top off your card accordingly just to handle a week’s worth of payments or top off as needed.
I keep extra fiat in my CDC account to top off my card so once they issued the virtual card I was able to top it off immediately for use. But it took over 3 days after the issue was resolved to see the funds transfer over from my old card.
Interest Earned
With BTC breaking its all time high last week and sitting at 61k, the whole market is up from the previous month. Â In the last 4 weeks, my portfolio gained about 38k USD in value.
My Crypto Earn portfolio is up 41% in the last 4 weeks.  You can track my earnings progress on the four major interest-earning platforms that I use by checking out this Google Spreadsheet. If you look back, my portfolio is currently at its all time high, even surpassing the value back in May 2021.
A large chunk of my Crypto Earn portfolio is in BTC (Bitcoin) and ETH (Ethereum) so it makes sense. BTC is currently sitting at 61k USD while ETH is at 4094 USD. CRO is holding out at 0.19 USD in anticipation of the Crypto.or Mainnet launch.
CRO Earnings
If you have been following my Crypto.com reports, you know that I have been moving my CRO onto Osmosis to earn a yield. I used to have my CRO staked on the DeFi Wallet app to earn about 13% APR—which is not bad.
But on Osmosis, I am earning over 90% APR which is almost 10 times more than what I can earn from staking on DeFi Wallet. However, I have to pool CRO with ATOM or OSMO and there is a 14-day unbonding period to unlock the higher APR on Osmosis.
Conclusion & Prospect
I was hoping for the release of Crypto.org Mainnet, Cronos, in October but a safe release without any security issues is the best course of action. Aside from the delay, Crypto.com has been constantly improving and adding/listing many new tokens and coins.
I enjoy using my Crypto.com Visa card for the massive cash back in CRO but the recent issue I encountered really reinforce the need for them to transition over to a credit card. It took over 10 days for me to regain access to my card’s funds which does not make any sense because it’s my money. If the same incident had occurred on one of my credit cards, they would just issue me a new card for immediate use without having to wait for any funds to settle.
The recent Bitcoin (BTC) rally invigorated the crypto market once again and that is reflected in my Crypto.com portfolio being up 41% in just 4 weeks. Although things have since cooled down, I see many good things in Q4 and I am excited for the Cronos launch in November.
I have strong hopes in Crypto.com and I will continue to HODL.

Good stuff, yeh I think they are understaffed as it took months for my upgrade card to arrive- plus a £50 charge - but the user base is growing extremely fast as well I suppose, I’m happy with it being my CeFi exchange.
